Welcome! My name is Angela Karner and I have been a fitness professional since 2016. I am a proud mother of 2, residing in Portland, Oregon.
As a life-long athlete, I have effectively used movement as a tool for my mental, physical and emotional health since childhood. I am a former competitive gymnast and elite marathon runner.
Before having children, I worked in the maritime industry. I spent 10 years as a captain and engineer aboard private yachts and research vessels. When travel was no longer feasible, I built a new career around my love of movement.
My philosophy of movement is simple: Movement should be enjoyable, accessible and efficient. I believe that all 3 of those components must be present for a person to remain consistent. Consistency is key to reaching your goals and improving your health.
I continue to build on my education and knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics through various trainings and certifications. I aim to provide participants with safe and effective workouts that promote longevity in the body and calmness in the mind.
It is an absolute honor to introduce others to methods of movements that will improve their lives. I am grateful to those who trust me to guide them towards reaching their goals. My studio and online platform are safe and supportive spaces for all.
When I am not in the studio, you can find me outdoors with my family. We love going on road trips and exploring the beauty of the PNW.
